When conducting precise microscopic observations, even minor temperature fluctuations can disrupt experimental results. In fields requiring prolonged stability—such as biology and materials science—accurate temperature control is critical for reliable data. The Tokai Hit TPiSX heating stage, designed for Leica DM series microscopes and similar inverted microscopes, addresses this challenge by delivering exceptional stability and convenience.
The TPiSX heating stage excels in temperature regulation, maintaining a range from 5°C above ambient temperature up to 60.0°C (50.0°C for the TPi-UNIX model). This broad and precise range accommodates diverse applications, including cell culture, live specimen observation, and material phase transition studies. Equipped with an advanced temperature sensor and control algorithm, it ensures uniform surface heating, eliminating distortions caused by thermal variations or compromised sample viability.
The stage features a spacious heating area (128 × 95 mm) on a 142 × 115 mm platform, with a durable 0.5 mm reinforced glass plate backed by a 10-year warranty. An LED indicator provides clear operational status visibility. For differential interference contrast (DIC) imaging, the design preserves clarity and contrast without interference.
The accompanying TPi controller measures just 85 × 135 × 30 mm and weighs 160g, consuming only 50W of power. Its space-saving footprint suits constrained lab environments while maintaining robust temperature management.
The system supports on-site calibration for accuracy across experimental conditions. Integrated logging software records temperature data, enabling detailed analysis and quality control.
While optimized for Leica DM microscopes, the TPiSX is adaptable to other inverted microscope models. Tokai Hit’s expertise ensures reliable technical support for advancing research needs.
